What is Arts Fest?

Arts Fest is an inclusive annual exhibition of individual and collaborative original artwork from first and second-year Arts Scholars students.  Traditionally held in the Stamp Student Union on Maryland Day, Arts Fest provides a public forum for students to share and present their creative ideas broadly with the campus and at-large community.  The day-long event includes exhibits, performances, and presentations that showcase the creative work produced during Spring workshops as well as sophomore capstone projects.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, our 2020 and 2021 Arts Fest celebrations were reimagined as fully online exhibitions. The resolve of the Arts Scholars students is on full display as evidenced by the development of their artwork despite sustained isolation from friends and the familiar campus surroundings that normally fuel their creativity.   We invite you to view the full Arts Fest online student exhibition by clicking the button below, as well as the gallery containing images from Arts Fest in years past.
